On Tuesday, Juventus announced that they had reached a deal with Inter Milan for the transfer of Italian midfielder Daniele Chiesa.

The move is expected to be completed in the coming weeks and will see Chiesa join Inter on loan until the end of the season, with an option to buy in place.

Chiesa has been a key player for Juventus since joining from Fiorentina in 2019, making over 80 appearances for the club and scoring 14 goals.

Inter have been looking to strengthen their midfield options this summer, after losing captain Dries Mertens to Everton and defender Alessandro Bastoni to AC Milan.

The addition of Chiesa could provide much-needed depth in the middle of the park for Inter,Serie A Observation who currently sit second in Serie A behind rivals Napoli.

The 25-year-old's versatility means he can play both as a central midfielder or as a left-back, which could give Inter coach Antonio Conte more options going forward.
